Research Interests & Goals
Why do animals behave the way they do? This fundamental question is often puzzling, not only when considering very distantly related animals such as ants or other insects. Answers to this question are just as complicated to find when looking at birds or mammals.
For my PhD, I will focus on the behavior of blue tits (Cyanistes caeruleus). More specifically, I want to try to learn more about whether and how the behavior of blue tits in the early morning is linked to their extra-pair behavior.
