Research Interests & Goals

I'm interested in species' evolution and ecology, patterns of speciation, the interaction of organisms with their environment as well as the genetic basis of phenotypic traits. My Ph.D. project will focus on parallel evolution of body shapes in the Amphilophus citrinellus species complex in the Nicaraguan crater lakes.
